Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission (HRTAC) Launches New HRTAC Website

Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission (HRTAC) Launches New HRTAC Website

By Kendall Miller, Principal Administrator of Public Involvement and Title VI

On September 23, 2014 the newly formed HRTAC launched its new website, Facebook, and Twitter sites.

Comprised of locally elected officials, the commission has the organizational structure and leadership in place to determine how new regional money - approximately $200 million annually - will be invested in transportation projects.  The website and social media sites are part of an overall effort to engage and consider the public’s input in that process.

The New HRTAC website will be continuously updated with new information and links to upcoming meetings, agendas and supporting documents.  To view the HRTAC website, follow the HRTAC on Twitter or Facebook, or to join the HRTAC mailing list, click here.
