Have an idea for a transportation improvement project?  We want to hear from you! Help us identify transportation needs and issues across the region.  The Hampton Roads 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Candidate Project Portal is a new tool that has been created to collect candidate project suggestions from the public through an interactive platform.  The portal will be open for about a year and provides an excellent opportunity for residents of the region to participate in the development of the 2050 LRTP.

Using the portal, the public can submit their ideas and concerns regarding transportation issues in the area.  Information collected through the interactive platform will help in identifying projects to evaluate for the 2050 LRTP.

The Hampton Roads 2050 LRTP Candidate Project is easy to use and accessible to everyone on their computers or mobile devices with the option to submit project suggestions using a paper form.  Anyone can submit a project by drawing a line, placing a point on a map, and entering basic information about the project.  The portal is open to all types of transportation projects, including those related to roads, bridges, public transit, and bike and pedestrian infrastructure.

We need your input to help identify transportation needs and issues in the region.
