Approval of Minutes
The committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting (June 2, 2011).
FTAC involvement w/other organizations and outside the region
VPA will pursue a freight summit in conjunction with the Governor’s Transportation Conference.
Resolution for tolling study RSTP application
The committee approved (with revisions) 1) an application from VPA for RSTP funds for a study of
the economic effects of various truck toll levels (to be submitted to the HRTPO), and 2) a resolution
concerning that application.
Outreach Video Update
The committee approved (with revision) the script for the freight outreach video. The committee
listened to taped narrator auditions, and asked for more options.
Announcement of Next Meeting Date, Place, Time
At the meeting, a date for the next FTAC meeting was announced but, in August, that meeting was
cancelled
