HRTPO WELCOMES NEW STAFF

HRTPO is pleased to welcome Kathlene Grauberger to our transportation planning staff.  Kathlene joined the Administrative Department of the HRTPO 11 years ago, and has now transitioned to her new capacity of Transportation Planner. Kathlene’s focus will be in the areas of transportation programming and funding.  She will be primarily involved in the development and maintenance of the Transportation Improvement Program as well as the project selection processes associated with the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program, Regional Surface Transportation Program, and Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside funding.

With Kathlene’s move from Administration to transportation planning, the TPO has hired Elizabeth Vandell, who now serves as the Administrative Assistant for the TPO.  Elizabeth is a new resident of Hampton Roads, having relocated from Alexandria, Virginia, where she worked as an Executive Assistant at the law firm of Wiley Rein, LLP in Washington D.C.  Elizabeth’s background also includes time spent in the capacity of Legislative Aide, Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant for members of Senate and Congress.
