1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by the Chair (Bill Bell) at 10:30am.
2. Taking of Attendance
Self introductions were made. It was noted that Curtis Hall is replacing Jeff Frye on FTAC.
3. Public Comment Period
There were no speakers.
4. Old Business
a. Adoption of Last Meeting’s Minutes
Minutes were approved with no changes.
b. Update on CTAC Communication
This item was for informational purposes only on role of CTAC and upcoming meetings.
c. Update on TTAC Communication
This item was for informational purposes only on role of TTAC. It was noted that TTAC is heavily involved in Prioritization. FTAC plans to present findings at future TTAC meetings.
5. New Business
a. HRTPO Prioritization Tool & 2034 LRTP
Freight background and FTAC’s role was presented by the Chair. Andy Pickard presented current status of Prioritization and help answer questions regarding the tool and inputs.
b. FTAC Offer to Participate in 2034 Prioritization Process
The FTAC took action to amend/shorten the FTAC statement on the Prioritization Tool (handout) and to present it to the HRTPO Board October 20th meeting.
FTAC also plans to reach out to the business community (i.e. Chamber of Commerce) to discuss role of FTAC and concerns/objectives as well as seek input.
FTAC would also like to invite Greg Grootendorst, Chief Economist (HRPDC) to speak on Economic Vitality component of Prioritization Tool at next meeting as well as the Draft Prioritization Results.
c. Presentation and Discussion of HRTPO Draft Legislative Priorities

6. Announcement of Next Meeting Date, Place, Time
The next FTAC meeting was scheduled for November 9, 2010 from 10:00-11:30am at VPA.
The meeting adjourned at 11:50pm.
