On Wednesday, October 3, 2012, the HRTPO Transportation Technical Advisory Committee elected a new committee chair. After serving as TTAC Chair for 18 months, C. Earl Sorey Jr. (Chesapeake), stepped down and was replaced by Michael S. King, (Newport News). The HRPTO thanks Earl for his months of service to the TTAC, and as he continues on in his role as acting Public Works Director for the City of Chesapeake, the HRTPO welcomes new TTAC Chair Michael King, who is the Manager of Comprehensive Planning for Newport News.
