1.    CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chair at approximately 10:30 a.m.

2.    PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
A private citizen from the City of Portsmouth addressed the HRTPO Board regarding improving the dissemination of incident information to prevent accidents and congestion on the Churchland Bridge and the City of Suffolk’s budget contributions towards transit; and a private citizen from the City of Newport News addressed the HRTPO Board regarding Patriots Crossing and the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel .

3.    COMMONWEALTH TRANSPORTATION BOARD MEMBER COMMENT PERIOD
Mr. Aubrey Layne and Mr. W. Sheppard Miller addressed the HRTPO Board regarding VDOT maintenance funds, Corridors of Statewide Significance, and DRPT’s statewide rail plan.

4.    SUBMITTED PUBLIC COMMENTS
A submitted written public comment was provided to the HRTPO Board.

5.    APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Agenda Item #11 was relocated from the Consent Agenda to the Regular Agenda.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Agenda items under the Consent Agenda were approved by the HRTPO Board.

The HRTPO Board approved the HRTPO CMAQ/RSTP Project Selection Process: Revised Criteria and Policies and the Project Status Monitoring Plan.

This item, which included HRTPO staff and DRPT staff briefings on the Draft FY 2012-2017 Six-Year Improvement Program, and the HRTPO staff briefing on the Draft HRTPO FY 2012-2015 Transportation Improvement Program, was for informational purposes only.  The HRTPO Board took no action on this item.
