Briefing of the HRTPO, HRPDC, and HRTAC 2015 GA Legislative Priorities

The Hampton Roads General Assembly Caucus Chair, Senator Cosgrove, hosted a meeting for the Chairs of the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO), the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (HRPDC), and the Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission (HRTAC) on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the General Assembly Building in Richmond. Mayor Price of Newport News, Chair of the HRTPO; Mayor Wright of Portsmouth, Chair of the HRPDC; Mayor Krasnoff of Chesapeake, Chair of the HRTAC; and Mayor Fraim of Norfolk provided the Caucus with the legislative priorities of the region. Senator Cosgrove requested that the Mayors provide a brief presentation to the caucus outlining the legislative items that are of the utmost importance to the Hampton Roads region. The goal of the meeting was to effectively advance the region’s priorities with the aforementioned delegation. The presentation to the Hampton Roads GA Caucus was well received.
