On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, HRPDC and HRTPO Office of Community Affairs and Civil Rights staff participated in a Health and Wellness Fair held at Prime Plus; Norfolk Fitness and Wellness Center.
The Fair provided an opportunity for the senior community to participate in activities that focus on physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual renewal. The senior community also played games, received door prizes and were given a tour of the facility.
Seniors who visited the HRPDC/HRTPO table received information regarding HRPDC’s and HRTPO’s Public Participation Plan, Title VI & LEP Plan, Bay Star Homes Program, Fish Swim and Play, Ask HRGREEN, water resources, and more. Such information is vital to our Senior Community’s quality of life here in Hampton Roads.
