HRTPO Welcomes New Staff

HRTPO WELCOMES NEW STAFF

 

HRTPO is pleased to welcome Steve Lambert  to our transportation planning staff.  Steve joined the HRTPO on January 3, 2017 in the capacity of Transportation Planner II.   Steve’s  focus will be in the areas of active transportation and public transit planning.  He will be the primary staff for the  Paths Connecting to the Va. Capital Trail committee, which will lead to  a regional active transportation committee.

Steve’s former position was with the City of Chesapeake, where he worked as a planner in the Comprehensive Planning Division.  He was a project manager for the city’s Dominion Blvd. Corridor Study and oversaw the Bicycle Trails Advisory Committee.  In addition, Steve worked on transportation planning and bike and pedestrian planning initiatives.
