Do you feel safe traveling on roads in Hampton Roads? Over the past year, staff at the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) have worked on the update to the Regional Hampton Roads Safety Study to help address roadway safety concerns experienced in the Hampton Roads region. The study highlights regional safety trends, crash characteristics, crash locations, efforts to improve roadway safety, general crash countermeasures, an in-depth analysis of high crash locations, and next steps.
As part of this study, HRTPO staff created a survey to gauge public opinion on regional safety concerns and to provide feedback on high crash locations. Please take a moment to tell us what you think and help us better understand the roadway safety issues that are important to you. Your input will help inform the Hampton Roads Regional Safety Study and the future of transportation in Hampton Roads. This survey will collect public feedback until August 31, 2023.
