The Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO) requests public review and comment on the draft Regional Conformity Assessment for the Hampton Roads Amended 2045 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and FY 2024-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The Regional Conformity Assessment was developed to ensure that the Amended Hampton Roads 2045 LRTP and the Hampton Roads FY 2024-2027 TIP are in compliance with federal and state air quality regulations. The report can be viewed via the link below.
As part of regional consultation, the associated conformity project list (contained in Appendix C of the draft RCA) is currently being reviewed by VDOT staff and other conformity stakeholders. The list will be updated as needed based on feedback received. The conformity project list will be finalized by the May 3, 2023 Transportation Technical Advisory Committee meeting.
All interested parties are encouraged to review the draft Regional Conformity Assessment and send comments to Dale Stith, Principal Transportation Planner, at dstith@hrtpo.org or by mail to 723 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, VA, 23320 by close of business May 16, 2023.
