Public Notice: Level of Traffic Stress Analysis for the City of Hampton Draft Report

HRTPO staff has applied a methodology to assess bicycle traffic stress on local roads to help identify low-stress bicycle-friendly roads.  Based on a request from the City of Hampton staff, this methodology was recently used to analyze roadways in the City of Hampton.

A draft report has been developed documenting the methodology and analysis.  This report is intended to serve as a resource for further analysis in other parts of the region.  HRTPO is also currently applying this methodology to further analyze some regional trails in Hampton Roads.
