The Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization (HRTPO), the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA), is considering requests to amend the Hampton Roads FY 2024-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). All proposed TIP Amendments include the opportunity for public review and comment.
Exempt Conformity Amendment:
Proposed amendment not subject to any conformity finding.
TIP Amendment – Exempt from Conformity
Non-Exempt Conformity Amendments – Programmatic:
Proposed amendments that undergo a conformity assessment through a streamlined process.
TIP Amendments – Programmatic Conformity Finding
Non-Exempt Conformity Amendments – Regional Conformity Assessment (RCA):
Proposed amendments that must go through a separate Regional Conformity Assessment, followed by the issuance of a finding of conformity by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
